1. Introduction
Aergent B.V. (hereafter "we", "us" or "Aergent"), based in Amsterdam, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. We take the privacy of our B2B clients extremely seriously and ensure that the personal information you provide is treated securely and confidentially, fully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What personal data we process
We process your personal data because you use our API and workflow automation services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. This typically includes:
- First and last name of contacts
- Business email address and phone number
- Job title and company details (Chamber of Commerce, VAT number)
- Login credentials (encrypted) for our SaaS dashboards
- IP addresses and pseudo-anonymized analytical data
3. Purpose of data processing
We use the above data solely for the following purposes:
- Implementing, providing, and maintaining our custom SaaS solutions.
- Customer service and technical support.
- Handling payments and invoicing.
- Legal obligations (e.g., Tax Authority requirements).
- Securing and optimizing our infrastructure against fraud and bots.
4. Data Protection & Storage
Your data is hosted exclusively on highly secured servers within the European Union. We employ strict encryption standards (AES-256) for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. We do not retain personal data longer than strictly necessary or legally required after the termination of our B2B agreement.
5. Cookie Policy and Local Analytics
Our website and SaaS applications use functional and analytical storage techniques (such as LocalStorage and functional cookies). We do not use invasive third-party trackers (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) without your explicit consent. Our internal trackers solely collet session duration, page visits, and bot detection signals to prevent abuse and optimize performance.
6. Your rights (Access, Correction, Deletion)
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your business and personal data. Please contact us to do so. To ensure that the request for access is made by the correct and authorized B2B representative, we may ask for additional business verification.
